    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    This FAQ list below is for 'transformation clients' only. This refers to people who are not competitive bodybuilding athletes, but rather, after a personal transformation.

    ◾️How long is the minimum coaching commitment?
    There is a 12-week Minimum commitment.
    You will have check ins with your Coach once per week for 12 consecutive Calender weeks.
    Once 12 week is completed it does not automatically cancel but rather move to week-to-week agreement.

    ◾️Why is there a minimum coaching commitment?
    We've set a Minimum commitment because, in our experience, this is the time necessary to create healthy sustainable change physically and mentally, and everyday habits and nutrition education.
    It also allow time to take clients through the process of sustainable change without resorting to extreme measures that may cause harm such as crash diets and excessive training Schedules.
    Our Goal is to get you to your Goal without causing harm and teaching you how to keep it.

    ◾️What happens if I fail to Check in with my Coach?
    The overwhelming majority of our clients do complete their Check in every week, but on occasion that you miss your agreed Check in day/time, You forfeit your weekly assessment and the changes that week. Your coach may, if they can, clear space for you the following day instead.
    Clients that are consistent with their Check ins are usually more engaged and get better results. Strongly encourage to stay on top of it.
    Note: there is no guarantee they will have time as they have responsibility to the clients who Check in on time and other commitments.
    During Coaching, Reliability is a priority, without we do not have the information needed to Coach you properly.and get the best results for you.

    ◾️Can I pause my coaching?
    Yes. Once your 12-week Minimum commitment has passed. You are eligible for 2 x 1-2 week pauses per year.
    This policy is place for the following 2 reasons:
    1.in order for us to keep our high level of Coaching clients, All active pauses are taking up spots on the team. Allowing for longer pauses means a valuable spot is not being used.
    2. Not allot of changes occur in 2 weeks, This means Coaching can resume smoothly after this period of time. Longer pauses requires re-evaluation via Questionare, video call, plans, complete overhaul, level of support, tracked data required of you each week. This will be considered a NEW START UP which attracts start up fees due to initial work.

    ◾️What is expected of me as a Betterfit Client?
    We do not expect perfection from anyone Rather we expect commitment, integrity, hard work, honesty, reliability and open communication.
    When Client make mistakes (e.g missed training sessions, Nutrition slip ups, poor sleep routines, supplement mistakes etc) it is paramount that they mention it to the coach ASAP with all necessary details. It is only when mistake are recognised that lessons can be learned and solutions can be found. Mistakes kept a secret only Grow into bigger problems instead of lessons.
    ◾️What is the cost?
    For most up to date costing please put through your Application.
    As a rough Guide, your weekly Coaching for the entire week is about the same price as a 1 hour PT session.
    For every new or returning client, we have a once-off $120 AUD admin & set up fee. This helps us cover the costs of your setup and ongoing administration while your a client.

    ◾️Will my coach help me choose a goal?
    Our Job is to help you reach your Goal, and understand the sacrifices, consequences, or risks involved in doing so.
    If you are unsure if the specifics goal we can offer Guidance.
    Goals are very individual and personal, it's important that you choose what feels right to you. We are guides not boss.

    ◾️How much say do I have in the coaching process?
    A fair amount. Your coach will meet you where you're at and ask for your input and feedback. Thus ensures what is being asked of you is actually achievable AND gets results. The plan is reviewed weekly at your check ins where you communicate your options or struggles with your Coach.
    You will be heard and your comments considered, however, your coach may not always input your preferences into the evolving plan. They will be balancing your preferences with your Goal achievement.

    ◾️Will I have to weigh myself on the scale or take photos?
    Weight and photos are helpful tool in measuring where you're at, and how far you've come. But if this creates anxiety for you. Or if your goal has nothing to do with scales or physical appearance (e.g maybe you want to find balance in your nutrition and feel better) then we will find a different measuring stick that is more appropriate.

    ◾️Will my coach come to the gym with me?
    All Betterfit Coaches are certified and experienced PTs.. However, Transformation Program is service that is entirely online. We keep it this way, even if a coach and client live close by so it's fair for everyone.
    Premium Coaching can Include one on one weekly Personal Training in person if it fits the Critia.
    ◾️What's the difference between 'Transformation Coaching' and 'Athlete Coaching'?
    TRANSFORMATION COACHING- is designed for fitness enthusiasts who are not pursuing competitive bodybuilding, and who want to make a healthy, sustainable, physical Transformation.
    We focus on building nutrition and exercise knowledge & skills, Mindset adjustments, long lasting habit change, and a balance that suits you. this program has no one on one Training in person.
    PREMIUM COACHING- is designed to bring your best to a Extreme body transformation or bodybuilding competition. This requires lifestyle balance to be put on hold while extreme practices are maintained for a period of time in pursuit of Transformation or bodybuilding excellence.
    This comes at the sacrifice of some health metrics and your peak weights (OFFSEASON Highs and COMPETITION Lows) are not sustainable. However, we take every measure to do it in the Healthiest way possible. With the smartest exit strategy. This Program can include one on one weekly sessions with Coach.

    ◾️Do you take all clients even Beginners?
    Yes, we take on all people, even total beginners, with that exception of people who require specific care outside of our scope of practice such as those unique illnesses.
    We will meet you where you're at, and take care not to push challenges at you that are unachievable for your current position or circumstances.

    ◾️Will I be coached in person?
    No. All Coaching is done virtually (online, mainly)

    ◾️How will I be Coached/ How do I complete my 'Check ins?
    All athletes, in prep or in the offseason, will follow the same structure:
    ONLINE VIDEO CALLS: When you or your coach request it, you will have private video calls with your Coach. This occurs at whatever interval you require it, and they last around 30mins, and you can expect a call about monthly.
    PRE-RECORDED VIDEOS: Where helpful or efficient, your coach will pre record a video for you to watch later to help explain things like Posing or training technique changes, go over your bloodwork , or to give praise or constructive criticism.
    WEEKLY DATA SHEETS:
    The bulk of your weekly check ins will be you filling out necessary documents like your training program, morning weight, daily steps, and qualitative feedback such as Digestion, hunger levels etc.
    You will have a set day/time of the week to have this done by. Your coach will review it and reply to you via email either in writing, via a pre recording video or both.
    OTHER:
    We also have the best resources to help support your journey. These tackle things like poor sleep, overeating, unhelpful or negative thoughts or Mindsets, or bad habits, you will be required to work through these resources which mY be a book, podcasts list of questions ongoing diary or other.
